Hair Thoughts

Well I considered what my brother and mother told me about my hair. Maybe I am doing too much but after careful internet research, I think I may not be doing enough. I don't deep condition or hot oil treat my hair regularly, I do it maybe once or twice every 3 months. After watching Kimmaytube on youtube, she has made some great points but I'm not sure how likely I am to throw away everything I had to start her regimen. She did say, however to do what's good for you and your hair. I really want to give up heat but I'm not sure I can do that completely. I know after being natural my hair doesn't like to be heat straightened SO I will cut it down for my hair's sake. Speaking of things that hair likes, if you want your hair to be happy, do things it likes! Some people say their hair hates water, some say their hair hates oil. I think my hair is like and doesn't know what it particularly likes, but it does love the fresh curl look. My hair adores to be a slightly dripping damp with oils sleeked through. So my hair must like water and oil? well I will assume so.
I've been using a slight version of stretching hair, I braid it or twist it after a wash and every night to prevent kinks. I sleep with a scarf on my head to protect my hair from snagging on the pillow or creating too much friction. I'm not sure how to  keep curly hair cuticles or shafts down. I've read about pH balance, haven't really looked into it. I know for sure, drinking more water would help both my body and hair. Right now I have a mixture of egg, coconut tahiti oil, water, honey, and milk in my hair. My hair was already covered with the coconut oil and I just mixed the egg with a spoonful of each of the other ingredients. It's been a bit longer than 10 mins SO I will wash it out. Its just a mask because these things are said to be good for the hair. I also used some of the left overs and slathered it on my face and lips. They were dry too so after washing this all off I'll see if it results in moistened softened skin as well. The egg def dries and makes things crisps.

eh well time to see how this all goes. AGAIN I've seen no noticeable changes in length or my body. I did get a complement on my twisted hair from a classmate and on my body from my singing instructor. Some things to look forward to I have started singing lessons and tomorrow I will go to a dance workshop (I'm taking off of work to dance)! it would be great for me to find my passion so I'm hoping this dance thing goes well. I haven't danced for 4 years! It's pretty easy to get my body back to the flexibility it was 4 years ago, that wasn't much, but I'm trying to go beyond that also strengthen up. Dancing would really motivate me but if it doesn't I have a ton of at home things I can do since the snow is starting to pile up. I really need to jog a tad bit :( too lazy to go to the gym. OK I'm rambling now so I'm going off to wash my hair and stretch some more
